This is the second photo in our Tuff x Shabazz Collection. Taken in Brooklyn NYC at Shabazz's beloved Prospet Park "Sisterly Love" shows the friendship between Tuff and Tami, shown in a tree wearing fashion created and customized by Tuff. The relationships between women are sometimes challenging, but when queens show each other real love and support it creates an unstoppable force! "Sisterly Love" encourages us to embrace our inner goddess and show more love to the beautiful and talkented women of the world. This photo was taken when Tuff was 18 as a part of a photo shoot collaboration with Brother Shabazz. Their photo journey, however, did not end here...
Collectors will receive a digital download of the photo and an unreleased acoustic version of Tuff's song "Keep Your Head Up" as well as a physical print of the artwork on canvas. (Please note that only the primary/original collectors will receive the physical print and it may not be included in a secondary resale of NFT. Also additional fees may be required for shipping outside of the US)
The Tuff x Jamel Shabazz Collections is the culmination of years of friendship and photography. Tuff and Brother Shabazz met in NYC in a chance encounter that led to this amazing photograph and collection. Tuff, age 16, was shopping in SOHO NYC with friend Bobo Layz at the time. Brother Jamel Shabazz is known as a prominent documentarian of NYC hip hop culture and has released the signature books on old school street style "Back in The Days" and "A Time Before Crack". Tuff went on to become an independent fashion designer, and later international Reggae recording artist.
