Putting myself first. collection image

Since I was a child, I have always wanted to be a makeup artist. I am the only son in my family and I have 4 sisters so naturally, I grew up with an interest in make up. I started practicing on my sisters and I realized I actually liked it a lot Then came secondary school when I started getting bullied for being effeminate. I started drawing back on expressing myself. Stopped doing make up cause I didn’t want people to hate on me. Didn’t want all the insults. Then I entered university and my roommate was a digital artist. It seemed nice and I decided to try my hand at it. Realized I was good at it and then realized that I could do the make up I always wanted to do on my art. This has been a way I’ve been able to express myself. If I can’t do it in real life, I’ll do it on my phone. I know there are many out there like me who are afraid to take steps to achieve their dreams. My advice to you is to put your happiness above everything else. Do what makes you happy! YOLO!
