“Exempt” is unique digital embodiment of the English adjective “exempt”. The 15 seconds long animated NFT video has been created in Photoshop and Cartoon Animator using the artist’s custom software for representing words as musical and visual motifs. The software is based on patented methods for language generation (CIPO-Patent-2704163 “Methods, systems and software for generating sentences, and visual and audio compositions representing said sentences” by Krasimira Dimtchevska and Svillen Ranev). The imaginary creatures floating over the colorful landscapes of “Exempt” have been manually created by using a mouse instead of paintbrush and generated by the computer visual motifs instead of acrylic paints. The audio background has been generated by the artist’s software using licensed auditory samples standing for the letters e, x, e, m, p and t. “Exempt” is an expression of the symbiotic relationship between language and its symbols, and between the mind, the body and the computer.
