A windflower’s petals are tissue-paper thin, so this flower was difficult to capture on a breezy day, because she was on the verge of tearing with each little gust. Reclining atop the vines, it was amazing to me that so delicate a flower was able to rise above the thick green ropes.

In this windflower, I see the soul of an artist. Almost regardless of the medium in which an artist creates, I believe it is our role to dare to be vulnerable. To pursue our craft with grace, all the while being a mere breeze away from ripping our petals. The unlockable poem speaks of the strength in vulnerability.
