Life lessons from the kids. Umaru got a bicycle and didn't want his friends to feel alone so he borrowed a neighbour's wheel barrow, locked it to his waist and his friends joined in the celebration.
This collection is a visual story of the African children I met during my one year service in Kano state. These children made my stay in Kano a memorable experience. I barely understood their language but the love and excitement was real. They taught me how to love, how to appreciate life, and to find joy in the littlest things.
