This artwork in oils was originally painted in 2007, and was artistically interpreted from a photograph of the Blue Mosque, taken on the artist's honeymoon. The artist has been married to her husband for 20 years. Despite the fact that she is not Muslim, the artist considers the Blue Mosque in Istanbul to be one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, and it has thus always represented a symbol of eternal love.
