ABOUT THE PIECE
The third piece in The Spear of Destiny Collection: Part II is the tenth piece in The Spear of Destiny Collection, and portrays a scene from Chapter Seven of HEROPLOT: The Spear of Destiny, titled, Collateral Damage.
Whilst the reader never experiences the actual scene itself, as it is explained to Edgar through a hand-written letter, the consequences of the confession are both harrowing and tragic, with Edgar discovering Clydesdale's suspicions and warning of what he believes the real motivations of Abelman to be. Time is of the essence, but perhaps the confessions of a dying man are already too late...?

METHOD
Initial photographic sketch montage replaced by extensive hand-drawn artwork to create the base model for each character. Additional multi-layered composites were added to create details such as the nasal cannula for the scene space before further layered effects were applied and colourisation adjusted.
