Artistic scenes from virtual Pittsburgh, Manhattan and Orlando (USA). The series Starlight introduces a set of synthetically generated images of urban scenes imagined by Generative Adversarial Networks. This piece is generated by a method developed in 2017 (HDCGAN) by Curtò et al. The method was the state-of-the-art in synthetic image generation in 2017, and still is on some benchmarks. The code has not been released to the public. This is the fourth piece of this particular series in the collection that is minted and therefore is of unique value as it is part of the history of synthetic image generation.
