"El Sombrero vueltiao" is the national hat of Colombia. This hat was created by the sinu culture and has inspired design in every aspect of Colombia, including fashion design. The clothes of the characters are clearly inspired by those patterns.

This image is also surrounded by beautiful landscapes of coffee farms. Those patterns in the background represent the coffee crops as well of the time that it takes to develop the crops into having the final product (if you watch closely the patterns look like leaves but also look like the form of a sand clock). This image shows the genesis of coffee but also the purpose of coffee, by celebrating unique and memorable moments .

In the background we also see a rainbow that is represented by the colors of the sombrero vueltiao. This is also a narrative touch to communicate magical realism in the image.
