The MADONIE series was born during my personal Territorial Promotion project. On that occasion I shot all the various hidden places of the Madonie Park for 2 months and created interesting photographs to see. You can see the movie I created in the youtube link, or search for "MADONIE CINEMATIC" on youtube.

The Madonie park is a protected natural area planned in 1981. It includes the Madonie mountain massif, located on the northern Sicilian coast, between the course of the Imera and Pollina rivers. The park is home to over half of Sicilian plant species, and in particular most of those present only in Sicily (such as the endangered Abies nebrodensis, in the Vallone Madonna degli Angeli).
For the fauna there are over half of the bird species, all the mammal species and more than half of the Sicilian invertebrate species.
Within this collection you will find all the best photographs taken on the Madonie Park by Vittorio Picciuca Photography.
