Recognition is validation that you are on the right path.
I photograph storms for the simple fact that I love it. My passion drives me. And that will always be my motivation. I will admit, though, it does bring me a sense of joy and gratitude when my work brings beauty or inspiration to others. It also feels very rewarding to be recognized and featured within a major publication or network. I think it is the simple act of feeling “seen”. I am quiet by nature, and throughout my life I often felt invisible. This tornado image helped me feel validated as an artist and a photographer when it was featured as a full 2 page spread in 2007 June edition of Outside Magazine. I was overwhelmed with emotion and gratitude. I think this tornado was asking to be seen, with its wild, twisty shape. It is unique and beautiful, just like every single one of us.

I was born gazing into the hypnotic sky with a camera in my hands, ready to capture powerful art that only Mother Nature is capable of conjuring. This is a collection of 12 unique 1/1 Photography NFTs and 1 super rare 1/1 video NFT, representing the past 20 years chasing my dreams through tornado alley in search of those extremely scarce moments when all the elements come together to create the perfect storm.
