The final piece in The Zeitgeist collection, an entirely AI-driven project that captured the top news story of each day.

From July 23rd, 2022 to February 27th, 2023, we generated 222 collectibles, each representing the top news headline of its respective date, as interpreted by AI, and forever memorialized on the Ethereum blockchain.

The Zeitgeist functioned through a custom application that scraped the internet for the most prominent news trends of the day. It utilized GPT-3, the largest neural network ever produced, powered by over 175 billion machine learning parameters. The AI then took the trend and crafted a text-based story, which was sent to another AI, that translated the story into an image that was automatically minted on the Ethereum blockchain.

The Zeitgeist finishes with a total of 222 pieces, a number that represents balance, harmony, and manifestation. According to numerologists, the number 222 is a sign that you are on the right path in life and that your thoughts and intentions are aligning with your true purpose.

This is a number that is close to the heart of The Zeitgeist creators: two forward-obsessed creative technologists and their AI friends.
