Prime City is one of the few remaining cities left in the Divided States Of America. After the Blackout of 2039, Mega-Corp Namazo initate their power blockade, crippling cities across the country. New York was the first city to fall. Addicted to the neon surge, the city sold its rights to Namazo.
Today, the city is a shadow of its former-self, losing its vibrancy and fervor. All that remains in its place is an echo of the past. This sector of Prime City is known as the Tokyo Block. What we see here is a glimpse of the past, the first few moments of the Blackout.
Julian Lamadrid is a Mexican singer, songwriter, producer, and filmmaker. For the past 10 years, Julian has strived to blend an array of genres to sonically create a unique and invigorating style of pop. This endeavor has culminated with the release of his up-and-coming album ‘Rebels of The Neon God’.
The album is centered around the dichotomy between frustration and dance, vacancy and ecstasy; enlightenment through pain. It tells the story of a dystopian future, a lost child traveling through time and space, drifting through the infinite. He has glimpsed into the eyes of The Neon God, pierced through the void, and come out the other end, desperate for connection, hungry for the eternal.
