I began my journey in the world of art and photography almost fifty years ago. These are images taken in the late 1970's and early 80's with analog cameras (basically Leica) and manually processed by me in the lab. They correspond to the first impressions and experiences lived in those initiation trips through Latin America, in a new world that I was unaware of and that would indelibly mark my future aesthetic development. Currently my work is part of important museums, art centers and private collections around the world, but these first works reflect a world that no longer exists and a look at it crossed by emotion and surprise. Some of these photographs are part of the book “Eduardo Gil – Early work” published in 2014 by Blue Sky Books, Portland, Oregon. EEUU.
