The battle of Hong Kong during WWII, Empire/State Theatre, Mr. Harry Odell, Sennet Freres, Mr. Hins Cheung …… This a century-old Neo-Georgian style house linked up many remarkable persons, commercial brands and architectures of Hong Kong that stated above. We would believe besides Hong Kong City Hall, there is nothing else can be as important as Alberose. (Actually Hong Kong City Hall was also proposed to Hong Kong Government by Mr. Harry Odell).
Alberose was well restored and shines again under the supervision of a famous Hong Kong Canto-Pop singer, Mr. Hins Cheung, whom currently renting and living in Alberose. He spent tons of efforts with the support of many historic documentations and photos to restore Alberose back to what it should be in 1930s.
Chocolate Rain is a Hong Kong design brand founded in 2000. Chocolate Rain design is inspired by childhood dreams and wonderland adventure. Each piece is unique and handcrafted with mix medium and special artistic elements. Prudence is the founder and designer and graduated in Fine Art. In 2008, Prudence was granted the Design Smart scholarship to Central Saint Martin’ s London for MA Degree in Design Studies. Prudence received the 2010 Ten Outstanding Designers Award and is honored as one of Hong Kong’ s Ten Outstanding Young Persons in 2012 and Young Women Innovator Award 2013 by APEC. She is Executive Committee members of the Hong Kong Designers Association from 2004 to 2016.
