I started with a painting of creamed spinach I cooked.
In the ever-constant struggle to eat healthy, be sustainable, and look good, my partner and I have discovered the ketogenic diet that allows us to feel satisfied that we are achieving all three. And we are bewildered by its simplicity. That feeling of not quite understanding how something works so well is what I tried to capture in this piece.
The Cryptopotomus is just one of several endangered species painstakingly catalogued in the pages of the Crypto Field Guide, a journal kept by an unknown explorer, cryptozoologist, biologist, anthropologist, and - as our research suggests - a great lover.
