Sacred is a collection of work born of a return to the Self; a return to source, the roots of our existence. We cannot take these sacred places for granted. We are of the earth; WE need the earth to survive...we are nature. Sacred places such as these are what is true, what is natural, what should be protected and valued.
The Sacred collection is meant to take you inside yourself, to a place you might not go often enough. The place where you can find stillness and truth, silence alongside the echo of your knowing.
LISTEN, to your Self, to the sounds that the earth makes, and twice as much as you speak.
About the Artist : Emily Scott is an award-winning self-taught artist. Born and raised in the Kootenai Valley in northwest Montana, she headed to Seattle for college and grad school before spending several years overseas interning, volunteering within Peace Corps, travelling, eating, and seeking epic nature, all the while growing her art business. Nineteen countries later, she is back in the US making art inspired by the natural wonders from her travels and surroundings, creating works that emanate the constant soothing-yet-powerful energy of our universe.
Emily is passionate about empowering women to step into their true Selves, to love themselves, and to take control of their own personal uprising, whatever that may look like.
Emily has received multiple art awards, and has had her work featured at Kew Royal Botanical Gardens, VIDA, Minted and The Unity Closet as well as on several blogs including Desert Hue, Arts Business Institute, Inner Moonlight Designs and Women in Art 278. Her work was also featured on DIY SOS: the big build on the BBC and lives in private collections all over the world. Emily wishes to remind viewers of her art of the connection that we all have to the earth and to all elements of the universe.
