The Golden Horn (Haliç) is an inlet of the Bosphorus with two rivers draining into it at the far end. You can find intriguing neighbourhoods on the two shores of the Golden Horn. Eyup, Balat, Eminonu, Ayvansaray, Kasimpasa, etc. These are not posh neighbourhoods. You can find lots of things that you may find interesting, especially in Eyup and Balat.

Istanbul is a unique and inspirational city for many artists, writers and photographers. Ara Guler, Bruno Barbey, Nikos Economopoulos, Alex Webb, and many other photographers.
This city that connects two continents is a love-hate paradox for most Istanbulites. For me, it's part of my soul. I've been living far from Istanbul for the last few years. It's not possible to share all of the photos and memories but these are when I think of Istanbul to come to my mind.
