In Leaders of the Old School, 2022 Brandon Deener pays homage to three iconic visionaries of the 20th century civil rights movement: Martin Luther King Jr., James Baldwin and Malcolm X. This lithograph triptych coincides with Deener’s debut solo exhibition Children of the Sun, Sol Searchin’, a survey of the artist’s recent paintings and works on paper, which depict his unique interpretation of Afro-futurism, Black Pride and figuration.

The collector who acquires Leaders of the Old School - #1 will also receive the corresponding physical print portfolio signed by the artist, #1 from an edition of 150 courtesy of Simco Editions. Please note the physical print portfolio is only redeemable once by the original collector of the NFT.
