Every year I would pack up a canoe and go deep into the northern Ontario woods of Algonquin park. This particular year I travelled with my friend Bruce. We had paddled in three days away from roads and other people, portaging as we went. This is the camp we made for a couple of days to enjoy the spoils of our work lugging all that weight over rock and across water. In this study I am once again trying to get that elusive light vs water transformation dance that occurs at sunset

One of the most enjoyable and rewarding things about creating, is that it can last forever. Constantly evoking a memory or a feeling. I am based in Cork Ireland as a freelance artist. Feel free to contact me if you need an artist for a website image or book illustration. I also accept commissions for major paintings
