Water Women is a collection of 1/1, cinematic, animated digital paintings by visual artist Katherine Buglione with unique musical scores by Keith Zarriello aka "The Shivers." Each piece is made from a digitally hand-painted portrait that is subsequently animated and laid over filmed footage of water scenes in double-exposure format. The subject matter works in conjunction with the music to form deeply emotional "living paintings." The pointed ears are meant to depict creatures that are human-like but feel a bit out of place.
