The two persons in #001~#008 come from samurai families. The man is a samurai and the woman is the daughter of a samurai. Their respective families do not get along. Their love was not blessed. Their love burns fiercely in the face of adversity, and they are secretly in love.

This collection is ukiyoe art depicting the "now" of people living in "EdoVivid," a virtual world in the year 20XX, where the Edo period in Japan continues without end. The "EdoVivid 48 Loves" series is the first in this collection and is themed on 48 forms of love (Edo 48 moves) by 48 lovers. Each of the 48 characters has a tattoo of a flower on a part of their body. Of the four pieces of artwork for each form of love, only one piece of artwork is a representation of the tattoo, and only 48 pieces of artwork in the entire collection have tattoo visuals.

「EdoVivid 48 Loves」シリーズはこのコレクションの第一弾で、48人の恋人たちによる48の愛の形（江戸四十八手）がテーマで、一つの愛の形（１ラブ）につき4枚で構成。最終的に192枚のコレクションになります。48人の登場キャラクターは全員、体の一部に花の刺青が入っており、一つの愛の形につき4枚で構成されるアートワークのうち、１枚のアートワークにだけ刺青が表現され、刺青入りのアートワークは全体の中で48枚のみとなります。
