Light-painting is a wonderful photography technique that i fell in love with over 10 years ago. I use it as a way to add some spice to social situations. Most people from where i come from, have no clue what light-painting is all about and i take this opportunity to create some fun and get people to experiment or have a special photograph taken of them. In this particular case, my dads friend was having an upcoming 40th birthday. Her name is Muthoni, she's married with two kids, works at a bank and doesn't get to flex her creative muscle as much as she would like to. She had some creative ideas to take some portraits with different outfits and props but she also wanted to do something more interesting. I asked her if she knew about light-painting and she had never heard about it before. After showing her my previous painting experiments, she got very curious and wanted to do it. This image is the final result, i got Muthoni's daughter involved in the creation process as well as my two cousins.
