My perception of the world seems like it is passing in the blink of an eye. Yesterday I was walking out on my high school football field, receiving my Diploma; today, I am almost 39 years old. Many of the goals I wanted to accomplished never came to fruition, but many new ones did. I served the Navy as a Combat Photographer, Went to school, earned my Masters, become a college professor, moved to New York, worked for Conde Nast, Macy's, did BJJ with Anthony Bourdain, appeared on several tv shows, met and partied with countless celebrities.

So much has happened, but it does worry me about how fast time is passing. Am I making the best of my life? Am I doing enough to make the world a better place? Will I look back at my life on my deathbed and be satisfied with all I accomplished? I often go to bed at night wishing I could be a Goddess of Time and roll back the clock to relive and appreciate my younger years a little more, but I know 20 years from now, I will want to relive my life at this current moment to enjoy it just a little more. Maybe that's the lesson here; eventually, we will all look back at this very moment many years down the road and wish we took the time to really appreciate life.
