NanoArt – Original Digital File - Nano sculpture created by drying a tiny drop of colloidal graphite (graphite particles in a liquid suspension) on an aluminum foil. The dried structure was dipped in Liquid Nitrogen at 196 degrees Celsius bellow zero (320 degrees Fahrenheit bellow zero) to generate spectacular cracks at micro and nano scales. The final structure was visualized with a scanning electron microscope and the image was digitized and captured in a computer. The monochromatic image was digitally painted and signed by the artist. Some say that I am the father of the conscious NanoArt. I defined the NanoArt, founded the Academy of NanoArt (https://nanoart.org/) and the organization NanoArt 21, a group of about 50 nanoartists all over the world (https://nanoart21.org/). I authored the “NanoArt: Nanotechnology and Art” chapter from “Biologically-Inspired Computing for the Arts: Scientific Data through Graphics” and other writings. I founded The First Permanent Exhibition of NanoArt (https://nanoart.blogspot.com/2017/12/the-1st-permanent-exhibition-of-nanoart.html). I already organized 7 editions of The NanoArt International Online Competitions, 5 editions of The International Festival of NanoArt, The K12 International NanoArt Gallery (https://nanoart.org/nanoart-k12-gallery/), and numerous shows in brick-and-mortar galleries worldwide. A number of 93 artworks authored by NanoArt 21 nanoartists will be exhibited in The First Museum of Art on the Moon (http://moonarts.org/). 4 of my artworks have been included in this museum.
