My photography collection "IN BETWEEN" consists of 50 unique storefronts and reflections, all 1/1s, captured over seven years in the streets of Miami and New York City. Ever since I was young, I've always been captivated by the Storefronts. Storefronts depict the glamor, the beauty, and the perfection I always dreamed of. Pretending to be living in the storefronts while hiding my insecurities, contradictions, and real feelings gave me comfort.

My journey started photographing the glamorous storefronts, and few years into it, I realized that, in reality, I was always looking for the reflections with all their imperfections.

My photographs reflect how a split second and a slight tilt of the camera changes the entire story, which will never be written again. Positioning myself between the visible and unseen moves me and makes me feel I am not alone. In moments like this, time does slow down ever so much, that reveals the importance of staying in the moment with your true self.
