The Lilac Breasted Roller is arguably the single most photographed bird in Africa for obvious reason.
This viciously territorial insectivorous bird has 8 different colours making up its plumage and is the national bird of Kenya.
They are monomorphic which means that both the males and females are equally colourful and look the same and the reason why I don't know if this was a male or female that dive bombed us out of its nest to "shoo" us away.
