In the past, when cars were not yet invented, when a couple had a date with each other, each of them would go to the place where they had a date with their horses, and after that they riding together on one horse.
In this piece, I have shown that a Qajar couple riding together on a spring day.
Lithography is a method of printing originally based on the immiscibility of oil and water. The printing is from a stone or a metal plate with a smooth surface. It was invented in 1796 by the German author and actor Alois Senefelder, Iranian lithography was imported to Iran in 1845 by Abbas Mirza. Nowadays this art has become a forgotten style.
Iranian lithography is a folk art that I have combined pop art with.
