The ecstasy of solitude is the only thing that will save me. All I need are my thoughts, my words, and myself to escape this reality for a bit. It’s not as if anything has gone wrong, it’s just that there is always something I need to do or think about. Always someone trying to tell me what they want or keep telling me how much they care about me. I have no time for solace in the moment but with solitude all of those worries disappear into nothingness and all it becomes is an eternal now where there are only your thoughts echoing around you until finally fading away leaving behind a memory of peace without any worry or responsibility.
