Snatched By A Falcon

A reader sent a letter of protest to the Editor of Sinar Terang as he has sent news about a woman (denok) three times in September, but only one was published. The next month, he sent another story, but still not published. He asked the editor of the newspaper about the reason behind the rejection of his story, whether it was considered unimportant, violated the rules, or was snatched by a Falcon? The Editor replied briefly, “Perhaps it was snatched by a falcon.”

The actual Indonesian word is Alap-alap (English: Falcon, Caracara or Kestrel) is a term for a predatory bird belonging to the Falconidae family.
