The dissolvement of the Russian Duma
The emperor has addressed the Senate to dissolve the Duma on June 16 (1907). Furthermore, new elections will behold on the 14th of September and the date is set for the new Duma to commence on the 14th of November of the same year.
A manifesto was given on the 30th of October 1903 stating that the judiciary discovered a conspiracy of part of the Duma against the state and the imperial power. The lawful demand by the authorities to temporarily exclude 55 deputies accused of the crime and to have them arrested, was not immediately fulfilled. That is why the Duma was dissolved.
