The algorithm underlying the artwork The Position of a Line by the American conceptual artist Sol LeWitt has been re-executed here, but now in a three-dimensional virtual space that can be viewed through glory holes.

The position of lines is defined not only in code but also in language. Language is used here in a factual way, any meaning is avoided. This reflects the thinking of the German philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein, who considered language as a flawed tool for our thinking. Much cannot be expressed in language. According to Wittgenstein, it is therefore better to limit the use of language to what it can express.

In this virtual space, the modernist tradition is continued in the era of Web3. Artworks are now virtual, spatial and computational. The latter refers to the machine-generated and temporary character of the contemporary art object. The artist reflects on reality in code.
