I was strolling at MI Road, Jaipur one fine afternoon. It was quite hot that day and a thought crossed my mind that why not capture some shadows of people being casted on the street. Bicycles being one of my favorite subjects for street photography or otherwise, I decided to wait for one.
I had the camera focus set on the street in advance anticipating the shadow. The street was a busy one and I soon found a man in a hurry crossing the street on his bicycle gifting me this shot.
A collection of 11 black and white street photographs captured in Jaipur City, during the last 5 years. It is a mixture of both mobile and DSLR shots. I like to capture people in motion, particularly capturing leg-triangles being formed when they walk and or when they are wearing or carrying unique props. Also, at times their water puddle reflections or big shadows being created of them.
This is pretty much my taste when it comes to street photography. Though I am not a street photographer rather a minimalist photographer, I shoot street just to reset and refresh my vision and through this collection I want to convey that.
