As one of the most influential artists of this generation, Kanye West has bridged the worlds of music, art and fashion more than any other artist.  It's impossible to put Kanye in a box and call him "just another rapper."  His influence is universal and his drive is limitless.  Kanye has never been bound to his creative urges and has always gone against the grain and challenged thought fearlessly. Clothing has been an integral part of Kanye's concerts and the Yeezus tour was representative of Kanye's style evolution and trajectory in the fashion industry.  Kanye's collaboration with Maison Margiela is representative of the endless battle between black artists and European fashion houses to acknowledge their influence within the fashion industry.  Having worked closely with Maison Margiela to curate the show, Kanye's wardrobe for the Yeezus tour was composed of 10 couture pieces, 20 ready-to-wear pieces, and an exclusive pair of sneakers, as well as the famous masks.  Donning the custom Margiela masks for most of the two hour concert, this was the tour burnt into memory through those full-face masks.
