From the Quantum Mirror series, Continuity explores the place of the individual within the infinity of the metaverse and the meaning at the root of being a physical being within a virtual realm. Continuity brings into question how our individual identity is perceived in a world where it can be easily copied ad infinitum. Your Bank accounts, passwords, social media presences, and beyond are captured in the cloud, what is to say that you don't exist everywhere now; and we must ask ourselves, is that really you?
Continuity No.3 explores the journey of the traumatic digital body as it travels through consciousness, arriving at a place of death and rebirth. As a golden object floating on an endless ocean, Continuity No.3 shows the perceived beauty of the human form at the frontier of the digital world, floating just above its surface. Water has and continues to be the hardest thing to simulate, presenting an extremely complex problem as it deals with an infinity of particles moving in collaboration with each other. As the body within Quantum Mirror floats on this computationally problematic substance, it begs to question what happens to our humanity once we cross the uncanny border between the perceivably digital and the unimaginably real. What will be of our humanity once we are reborn into a world when we cannot differ between atom and pixel? and what lies below the surface? is it transcendence or simulation?

A place to find all art created for my immersive installation #QuantumMirror, a place where the limits of human perception are challenged and the viewer is invited to experience their place in the metaverse.
Quantum Mirror is a meditation on modern human consciousness. Its structure is a reflection of self perception, using light and sound to visualize how human consciousness has become enlightened by the digital, existing in an infinity of states at the same time.
Speaking to humanity's deep entanglement with technology, the sculpture lays inactive without its virtual core, in the same way that modern consciousness would be paralyzed without virtual connection - representing how everyday human life has crossed over to become a spectrum between raw humanity and cyborg consciousness. Quantum Mirror proposes that our sense of self is prismatic, infinite and cloud-like, our many selves can be everywhere now, but not without the screens we hold with such conviction.
