Leyline supports Disaster Fighters Central America, a campaign for disaster preparedness and prevention in the Dominican Republic and Central America region, developed by the Coordination Centre for Disaster Prevention in Central America and the Dominican Republic (known by its Spanish acronym CEPREDENAC) with the support of the World Bank. Its goal is to improve community preparedness and resilience to risks such as hurricanes and earthquakes in the region.

The Disaster Fighters initiative brings together a team of current and former Olympic and Paralympic athletes, soccer players, regional musical talent, and other influential figures, to disseminate informational messages on fighting the impacts of hurricanes, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, COVID-19 and other hazards.

The initiative will be launched on November 3rd with a musical production featuring athletes and artists from Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and the Dominican Republic.
