This GIF is build on top of an acrylic painting of a skull I've made. I'm trying things out. I've noticed that a lot of the artwork that is up-loaded on SuperRare is a GIF. Or an animation. I'm not sure if I like these hysterical and sometimes visually aggressiveness of them. What I do like is to try to combine my ability to paint and use digital tools to make a digital collage. Hope you like it too.
The skull I've painted finds it's origin on a Vanitas Painting from a Dutch Painter called Adriaen van Nieulandt in 1636. The original is in the Collection of the Frans Hals Museum in Haarlem, The Netherlands.
