The Kokonoe stable is a sumo stable belonging to the Takasago clan, and boasts the highest number of wins by room, 52 times. In 1992, his 17th Jinmaku (former yokozuna, Chiyonofuji), who was the room master of the Kokonoe stable, succeeded to the name of the 13th Kokonoe and became the master of the room. He trained many sekitori, including former Ozeki and Chiyotaikai.
