Sakura-fubuki (桜吹雪) means "cherry blossom snowstorm". Often cherry blossom petals dance in the spring wind, which from a distance can look like a storm of petals!

I spent 4 weeks traveling around Japan to follow this wonderful event. Among the thousands of photos I've taken, this was one of those selected as final Fine Art Prints for exhibitions/collectors. The original photo is from 2014.

• NFT ARTWORK DESCRIPTION: With this NFT piece I want to combine the frozen moment captured during the Sakura, with the feelings of tranquility and relaxation I felt while immersed in it. To do this I decided to (re)animate the still image in a subtle and elegant way. I used a cinemagraph 3D technique for parts of the image, animated the branches at the top in a natural way, added some light rain and mist + cherry petals falling. On top of that I included some soft Japanese flute music to enhance the feeling of quiet and relaxation. Hope I was successful ;)
