"The Biggest Fiesta" is a unique Visual Toy that commemorates the tenth anniversary of Spain's victory in the 2010 South African World Cup. This Visual Toy fuses cyberpunk and retro technology with ornaments of Spanish tradition, latin legends and wooden details, both to remember the long history of Spain, also the color of its festivals and the joy, known as "ferias". All that Spanish spirit and revelry is present in the work.

One detail is the billboard in the shape of "Peineta", a feminine ornament for long-standing hair. Also the metal trumpets that are actually the well-known "Vuvucelas" that sounded non-stop in the matches leaving in that World Cup a characteristic background buzz in the stands.

I build this machine in order to recreate that incredible moment in an infinite loop, a shot of joy to be consumed like a drug, like a vice, like the slot machine addict.

And finally as a Spanish artist I can assure you that it was something magical and very special. I was lucky to be 27 years old at the time and I was able to drink until I fell down to the ground singing. It was in Liverpool where he worked as a waiter. What a great day! I still can not believe it.
