The Tea Bombardier was one of the first protype Analogue/Digital works I created as I started exploring Immersive Augmented/Virtual Reality tech a few years back.

It became a pivotal point in my career as I transitioned from Animation in Advertising and Game Development and into creating AR/VR Storytelling Art and Experiences. What I loved about AR and VR was that I could combine my love for analogue art, illustration and adapt my techniques and processes into the digital space. Making this leap and embracing my own visual style, I've been humbled to have taken my approaches with immersive media to an international stage; showcasing at Siggraph Asia, GDC, South by South West and Adobe Symposium.

The Tea Bombardier was originally illustrated freehand with ink on paper, where it would then be scanned, spliced, animated and eventually integrated into a Game Engine for Augmented Reality Art Activation. Early animation prototypes involved experimentation with After Effects and Blender where bone rigs were built to control the animation. These early techniques have now become a foundation on the more advanced 3D AR creations I have created.
