Artist's Description: Like an alien from outerspace, Warhol was a mysterious intrigue. I painted a painting IRL called "Grogu Gaga" that reminded me that unintentionally the DNA of Warhol was in my earliest works. That intrigued me. I saw a fresh and powerful iconography of hybridization of icons, the next level icon that reminded us of shooting for the stars. A hybridization of Baby Yoda and Lady Gaga, Grogu Gaga was a powerful rockstar, but why, because like Warhol's childhood subjects and early loves expressing them artistically elevated who I could be, if I chose. It gave me hope. Sometimes we look to the stars to remember how to hope.
