Story

My experiments with long shutter speed. The photo was taken 10 meters away from my house. I saw a beautiful moon out the window and decided to take some photos with a camera on a tripod. In my early days, I really liked cropping photos into a square and I still find this shape pleasing to my eye.

On the right you can see a fragment of the "Jewish House" as it was called in my area. Surprisingly they always had electricity when the whole neighborhood was turned off. My mother would look out the window and say: "there's power in the Jewish house"

Now all these houses are destroyed by russian artillery and bombs. There are no more lights in the Jewish house.

You can see a video filmed by russian terrorist cruising down the street in spring of 2022 shortly after putin's forces broke into the city. I need to retake this photo to show the devastation that occupants brought to a peaceful place: https://youtu.be/1JVyedYe_DQ
