Story

I've known that in Mariupol we have two sunsets since my childhood. The first time when the sun goes down like in all normal places, and the second time when they pour hot metal at the metallurgical plant. This is the view from the roof of my parents' house to the legendary Azovstal factory. We are separated by only 1.7 km of distance!

This place seems to be a portal to another dimension. Even in peacetime it looked brutal, but in 2022 it turned into a real gateway to the underworld. The whole world without exaggeration followed the defense of Azovstal plant in whose dungeons thousands of civilians and Ukrainian military held their ground against the superior forces of the enemy. The plant was attacked by russian terrorists with all possible weapons including unknown chemical weapons (12/04), avia bombs (19/04) and phosphorus bombs (15/05).

I'm not sure if it's possible to go up to this roof again, since it was completely destroyed by russian ship artillery and airstrikes, probably there are no ceilings and no floor to stand on, but in that case I will use a aerial drone to reshoot this shot as soon as I get a chance.
