CMYK: Singleton (2021)
The CMYK colour space is in a sense the physical complement to the digital RGB colour space we're all familiar with. Rather than dealing with the additive nature of Red, Green, and Blue light, CMYK is a subtractive mixture of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and blacK pigments. The two pieces exhibited here (Finding Your Compliment, and Singleton) are a small sample of a larger exploration that requires physical plotting to be properly visualized.
Paper Dimensions: 23 x 31 cm
JPG Dimensions: 7185 x 9630 px
This token is a high-resolution scan of the associated physical plotter artwork. Both the digital token and the physical plot are intended to be held by the same individual. Redemption of the physical plot is optional. The buyer shall be responsible for the cost of shipping and framing. Until the physical plot is redeemed, it will stay in the custody of the artist. It is the responsibility of the previous owner to transfer the physical plot to the new owner in the event of a sale. The physical will not be replotted by the artist.
