We come in all colours is a portrayal and celebration of African heritage and culture in its past and what I hope to be its ultimate future. It depicts a community of people and the richness and colour of their every day lives, from commerce to craftsmanship, and fashion to food, existing together in diversity and harmony. Above this community is a skyline of African architecture from different regions of the continent and a collection of trees and flowers from these regions to highlight the beauty of their natural landscape. A vision of what our cities were and could still be — a synergy of modernity, history and the charm of simplicity.
