This semi-religious and political system is the dominant ideology of the Milky Way Galactic Empire, believing it to be a divine order that unites the star systems of the Milky Way under one centralized government, part monarchy and part democratic, with an emperor as the head, a galactic senate and assembly as the legislative branch, and a galactic judicial branch.
