Descent to Madness is the most openly disturbing Nussbaum interpretation I've created. It's based on two Nussbaum paintings with the one in the background providing the setting for the descending front image. Each image was altered individually and merged in a psycho glitch GIF. I have no cheer up words for the message. And yes there is a message. And no it still is individually discoverable but mutually carried on the shoulders of all.
As part of a series, it is a piece built upon the various works of the Jewish surrealist painter Felix Nussbaum. He was born 1904 in Osnabruck and died 1944 with his wife, in the Auschwitz concentration camp. As of 2015, Nussbaum's work entered public domain.
