Genesis Wallet - I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since I got into the Blockchain space and now here I am, witnessing and proudly taking part in one of the most incredible leap in the merging of technology and art. The future of the internet, and society, is being created now, by everyone building and contributing to these new platforms and tools.

While some argue against it entirely, due to the high power consumption of the underlying technology. We must keep in mind the teams behind Ethereum, along with other blockchains, are hard at work everyday to create new scalability solutions to reduce congestion and create a more optimized systems.

These are temporary issues, and I strongly believe that we must recognize and leverage them on a personal level, while keeping in mind that this technology will provide much more solutions than problems in the long term.

We’re in demand for higher computation and power usage regardless of Blockchain. The goal should not be to hinder or cancel the development of these technologies and shame their communities, but instead to transition to more sustainable energy sources to power them in the first place.
