Back around again through the 3 colors, through the cycle. I was always fascinated by the concept of cycles in literature - patterns that a story was meant to follow so that you could make sense of the details you were expected to take in. The patterns of our own behavior in real life - does it mirror cycles? Do we move in rhythms that repeat, and each cycle we just have to pay attention to what's a little different and helps us draw out some meaning?
I'm still experimenting with inks and scans from my youth, files I've had on old hard drives for years finally composed and arranged the way I like now. All of these scarlet_dream images are closed compositions - they aren't meant to feel contained, but they also don't really extend beyond the frame of what we're seeing - so any outward motion just has to be suggested, not done.
